Description

Get a glimpse of Hawaii’s thriving hula tradition and learn a few steps. The dance, accompanied by a series of chants or percussive instruments, holds a special meaning in Kauai as the island’s legends suggest that the art form began on its shores.

Make your own lei to wear at the luau planned for Friday evening, or have the kids create their own luau themed sand art or paint a wooden totem pole or sea creature.

Traditional shaved ice cones will be available to cool off from the Hawaiian heat!
