The mission of the Safety Committee is to create a direct link between the SMIA Board of Directors and professional safety representatives from Member companies. Under the authority of the Board of Directors, the Committee collaborates on industry safety issues to assist the Membership in cultivating improved safety cultures and reducing overall risk.

Safety Committee Meeting attendees have the option to attend Maritime Conference sessions, which will run the afternoon of 11/20 and a full day on 11/21.
