A review of how the annual DOL assessment is calculated and how placing a claim into the Special Fund impacts that calculation. This session will also cover: (1) requirements for acceptance of a claim into the Special Fund (2) the role of the Solicitor’s office, and (3) recommendations for obtaining DOL approval where nuances in the process or case law may exist.
